Error description

  • The Reorg Recommendation Monitor in Db2 Query Monitor for
z/OS V3.3 provides for the ability to sort the data shown
in either ascending or descending sequence by using the column
headers. However, when you click the column header for either
"Start" or "End" under either the Baseline Performance Window
or the Comparison Performance Window headings, the actual
timestamp values under these columns do not sort properly

    1. In new java version changed version output
    2. The Reorg Recommendation Monitor in provides for the ability
to sort the data shown in either ascending or descending
sequence by using the column headers. Sorting was realized by
formatted values and had wrong sequence
    3. Current CAE server on Windows uses JRE which might be
       vulnerable to CVE-2018-12547 (CVSS 9.8)

Problem conclusion

  • 1. need fix version parser in cae server starting script
    2. Sorting of all columns the table is realized by not formatted
       values
    3. Update JRE used by CAE server on Windows
