Problem
Testing a JDBC connection received the error code XQE-JDB-0004 a problem occurred finding the driver class "oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver"
Cause
The JDBC connector is missing from install_location\drivers folder or not installed properly.
Diagnosing The Problem
Check the install_location/drivers for missing ojdbc8.jar file
Resolving The Problem
- If the ojdbc8.jar file is present in the install_location/webapps/p2pd/WEB-INF/lib folder then copy the file to the install_location/drivers folder.
- If the ojdbc8.jar file is not available, download the file from the download center site: https://www.oracle.com/ca-en/database/technologies/appdev/jdbc-downloads.html
- Then, copy the ojdbc8.jar file to the install_location/drivers folder.
