Troubleshooting
Problem
When servers from multiple Cognos Analytics environments are added to the same ca_servers group in IIS, the gateway URI enters a loop-condition during Single SignOn.
Symptom
Login loops constantly
Libraries such as require.js return a 404 error in a browser trace.
Cause
When the IIS_Config.bat file was run, the default server group (ca_servers) was not changed for each environment.
This results in all of the servers for multiple environments being added to the same server farm, which results in a conflict during login.

Diagnosing The Problem
- Checking the ca_servers server farm displays dispatchers from multiple environments
- Replacing {ca_servers} in the /bi rewrite rule with a dispatcher URL, allows login to be completed successfully
Resolving The Problem
- Edit the IIS_Config.bat file to change the name of the Server Farm from ca_servers, to another name, which causes it to be created when the script is run again
- Remove the incorrect servers from the ca_servers Server Farm
- Rerun the IIS_Config.bat script.
