Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    In the Manage Inspection Forms Work Center, if duplicate a
    question on the inspection form and then I update the
    description of the question while still on the main screen and
    then I go and open the question to edit the details, then I
    receive the message that the record has been updated by another
    user and I lose all my changes I made while editing it.  If I go
    in and edit again then I can make the change and I don't receive
    that message again.
    
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Login to Maximo
    2. Open the Manage Inspection Forms application
    3. Select an Inspection Form
    4. Duplicate a form question
    5. Edit the description of the duplicated question
    6. Select the edit icon for the duplicated question
    7. Make a change to the question content
    8. Select Done
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    The changes made to the inspection form should be saved.
    
    RESULTS :
    The following error message will appear:
    BMXAA8229W - Record XXXXXX has been updated by another user.
    Your changes have not been saved. Refresh the record and try
    again.
