Error description
An App Center client on a Windows tablet works until a third party VPN client is installed. At that point, an error is seen in the server output: FWLAC0305W: model cannot be changed from [one device type] to [a different device type] When the VPN client in uninstalled, the App Center client will work again.
Local fix
The only work around is to uninstall the VPN client.

Problem conclusion
The calculation of device IDs has been changed. Device IDs are now unique, even if a VPN client is installed on the device.
