Error description

  • DESCRIPTION: The "Filter By" option in the Location Lookup field
    at Service Request Application doesn't show the Locations for
    all the sites.

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    (1.a) Ensure that the users are at least in two groups.
    (i) Group-1 - should have authallsites checked
    (ii) Group-2 - should have a specific site(s)
    Notes/Info: The list of location shown is only for sites
    specified for the Group-2 as opposed to all sites.

    (1.b) Go to Service Desk; Service Request Application
    (i) Open any existing record, or create a new one. Say, we
    create a record with SR.TICKETID: 1216; Save
    (ii) Navigate to Service Reqeuest Details section,

    (2) Click On Asset lookup field, another window opens up with
    "Filter by" Options as: User/Custodian, All, Public
    (i) "Filter by": User/Custodian; User: WILSON; Custodian:
    WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There are 4 Results shown and only for Site: BEDFORD

    (ii) Perform another test, "Filter by": PUBLIC; User: WILSON;
    Custodian: WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There are 1050 Results shown for other sites as
    well. That is the PUBLIC Filter has worked as expected.

    (iii) Perform another test, this time, choose "Filter by": ALL;
    User: WILSON; Custodian: WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There are 1208 Results shown. That is the ALL Filter
    has worked as expected.

    (3) Perform the same test(as done for Asset lookup field) for
    the Location lookup.
    Click on Location lookup field, another window opens up with
    "Filter by" Options as: User/Custodian, All, Public

    (i) "Filter by": User/Custodian; User: WILSON; Custodian:
    WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There is 1 Result shown and only for Site: BEDFORD

    (ii) Perform another test, "Filter by": PUBLIC; User: WILSON;
    Custodian: WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There are 226 Results shown. But the result is shown
    only for the Site: BEDFORD. User Wilson has access to other
    sites as well and they should have been shown. The PUBLIC Filter
    isn't working as expected.

    (iii) Perform another test, this time, choose "Filter by": ALL;
    User: WILSON; Custodian: WILSON; Hit Refresh.
    (a) Observe There are 226 Results shown. But the result is shown
    only for the Site: BEDFORD. User Wilson has access to other
    sites as well and they should have been shown. The ALL Filter
    isn't working as expected.

    RESULT:
    The "Filter by" option in the Location Lookup field shows only
    for the BEDFORD Site irrespective of the option chosen as PUBLIC
    or ALL.

    EXPECTED RESULT:
    (i) The "Filter by" option in the Location Lookup field doesn't
    show the values from other Sites when PUBLIC or ALL is selected
    for the users.
    (ii) The "Filter by" option at Location Lookup should behave the
    same way as Asset Lookup's "Filter by" field.
