IJ35518: FORMULAS: CAN'T RETURN NULL TO PERSISTENT FIELD

Error description

• ERROR DESCRIPTION:Ø
  Unable to to return a null value to a persistent field per
  formula. NULL should be the true value returned it is trying to
  return a 0.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Open DBCONFIG application, nn the WORKORDER table, create
  two new attributes: CGPERSISTENT and CGNONPERSISTENT:
      -CGPERSISTENT is Persistent AMOUNT field
      -CGNONPERSISTENT is non persistent AMOUNT field.
  2. Apply the config changes.
  3. Create an attribute formula on the CGNONPERSISTENT field:
      -Formula Expression : nullvalue()
  4. In Application Designer, add CGNONPERSISTENT as a field in
  WOTRACK
  5. Open an existing WO in WOTRACK
  6. We can see that CGNONPERSISTENT has null as its value
  7. Create an attribute formula on the CGNONPERSISTENT field:
      -Formula Expression : nullvalue()
  8. In Application Designer, add CGPERSISTENT as a field in
  WOTRACK
  9. In Work Order Tracking create a new WO.
      -You get:

  registered correctly. See the log file in
  the APP HOME directory for more details about the error.
