APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When you try to debug a remote instance, for example, a human
    service in Process Designer's Inspector, it fails with the
    following error:
    CWTBG0019E: Unexpected exception during execution. Exception
    information: 'You are not allowed to perform the action because
    you do not have read permissions on the project that contains
    the process model.'
    
    The browser log shows the following error:
    Returned :
    HTTP/1.1 501 Not Implemented
    With the error the customer sees on the screen:

Local fix

  • Start the instance in Process Designer.
    

Problem summary

  • This error occurs when the instance is not started from the
    Process Designer (for example, Process Portal).

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that allows the Process
    Designer's Inspector to debug an instance not started by the
