deleted and recreated frequently which causes missing records.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: An incorrect resume point is set by the *
*                      Log Forwarder when the USS file is      *
*                      deleted and recreated every few minutes *
*                      which causes missing records.           *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *
****************************************************************
The file property 'INODE' may be reused if the USS file is
deleted and recreated frequently which causes the Log Forwarder
to use uses the exist resume point instead of zero.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When getting the resume point, CDP v2.1 is updated to check the
file creation time to fix this problem.
