APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DataPower can cause uncommitted messages if MQ URLs with sync
    point tags (Transactional=true;Sync=true) are used without
    enabling units-of-work feature in respective mq-qm object.
    

Local fix

  • Use MQ URLs that does not contain Transactional=true;Sync=true
    tags for mq-qm object without units-of-work setting.
    

Problem summary

  • DataPower could not commit messages when two MQ URLOpener share
    one mq-qm without setting sync point in both.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Fix is available in 2018.4.1.18 and 10.0.1.5.
