• With Cognos Analytics 11.2 Dashboard, use a filter within This
  tab on a Measure field REVENUE based on a DQM Framework Manager
  package against an Oracle relational data source having a column
  data type NUMBER (18,4) fails with the error ?Query Service
  internal error has occurred, please see the log for details.?
  

Local fix

• Workaround

  a. Filter based on the Dashboard Field properties, however,
  require Dashboard edit access.
  b. Create a Data Set using FM DQM package or Data Module
  c. Alter Oracle table column as NUMBER (19,4) instead of NUMBER
  (18,4)
