Abstract
IBM FileNet Image Services 4.1.2.27 and 4.2.0.16 introduces support for 2020 LDAP channel binding and LDAP signing requirements for Windows.

The following version onwards, Image Services supports Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) channel binding and LDAP signing for Windows operating system:
Requirements
- Image Services 4.1.2 fix pack 27 (4.1.2.27)
- Image Services 4.2.0 fix pack 16 (4.2.0.16)
Verifying LDAP status
- Open the Ldp application.
- Go to the Connection tab and select Connect.
- Enter the appropriate value in the Server field.
- Enter the value 636 in the Port field.
- Select the SSL option and click OK to connect to the server.
- Go to the Connection tab again and select Bind.
- In the Bind prompt window, enter the user ID and password. Then select Simple bind and click OK.
If the LDAP connection is successful, you get the following success message:
Authenticated as: <domain>\<username>
If the LDAP connection is unsuccessful, you should get an error message with an explanation.
