Workaround:
If you want to upgrade the Red Hat® OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) from version 4.7 to version 4.8, you must delete the RQA instance and create it again. See Uninstalling RQA and Installing RQA customer-managed.
Ensure that you do the following when you upgrade to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) version 4.8:
  • Take backup of the CouchDB data before deleting the RQA instance and use the restored data when you install the RQA instance. See CouchDB backup and recovery.
  • No RQA DNG or D9 sessions are active when you create the RQA instance. If any user's RQA widget is open, license of that users remains checked out.
  • Use CouchDB channel 2.0 for upgrading to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) version 4.8.
