Error description

  • When you open an existing case with quick tasks defined where
there are assignees on the quick tasks, a FNRPA0092E
    NullPointerException error is returned.

In the application server logs, you see:

Local fix

  • Workaround:
Remove the assignee on the Quick Task by using Administration
    Console for Content Engine (ACCE).
    - Navigator to the Case folder, then click tasks.
    - Click and open the Quick Task in question, etc "QT1".
    - Click the assignment property drop-down and select the
    assignee.
    - After you open the assignee object, check that the assignee
property value is blank. Then, select 'Action' > delete.

Problem summary

  • The issue occurs when an assigned user on the quick task is no
longer in the directory repository (LDAP).

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available or will be available that ensures a case that
contains quick tasks with assignees can be opened when the
assigned user is no longer in the directory repository.
