APAR status

Error description

  • There are a few specific conditions where a thread may attempt
    to use a log target after it has been deleted or replaced,
    resulting in an unexpected reload. An example of this is a
    dedicated compiler thread logging a message while it is being
    deleted or replaced.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Special case threads may be susceptible to logging to a target
    which no longer exists causing an unexpected reload of the
    device.
    
    An example of this is a logging target which subscribes to
    compiler logs is deleted, while documents are being compiled
