IT37827: TIME COLUMN FORMAT IN EXPORT PERFORMANCE DATA FILES IS DIFFERENT AND NOT SORTABLE BY OLDEST TO NEWEST

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Export Performance Data zip file contains csv files with a
  Time column.  That column has changed since the 2Q21 Storage
  Insights update to display the data in GMT.  Additionally, if
  you try to sort by the Time column, the only options are A to Z
  or Z to A.  The column no longer can be sorted oldest to newest
  or newest to oldest, which would be more appropriate for a time
  value.
  
  Example old timestamp:
  7/1/2021  5:01:00 AM
  
  Example new timestamp:
  Fri Jul 02 12:57:13 GMT 2021
  

Local fix

• None, but can use the following formula in a separate Excel
  column as a workaround to be able to sort the Time from oldest
  to newest or newest to oldest.
