This fix pack resolves the APARs and defects listed in the "Problems fixed" section.
This fix pack also includes the fixes in earlier releases.
2.0 Architecture and prerequisites
===========================

2.1 Prerequisites for this fix:

NetApp Storage agent:
This fix pack can be installed as a stand-alone installation; OR This fix can be installed on top of NetApp Storage agent 7.3 FP2 but it will not be able to monitor the OCUM/Active IQ Unified Managers 9.6 and below versions.
Upgrade to this version is recommended only if you have Unified Manager 9.7 or onwards environment.
If NetApp Storage agent of version 7.3 is already installed, the agent or the application support cannot be upgraded.
1. Either uninstall the agent and support of NetApp Strorage agent from ITM environment and install this fix afresh.

2. Install the NetApp Storage agent 7.3FP2 and the application support on a dedicated setup.

Description:
After listing the Sub-node "tacmd listsystems -t VM", it shows incorrect version, ideally it should be matched with the agent version but the reported one is 07.30.01.xx.

Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machines Agent:
The following enhancements were made:
  • Provided RHEVM monitoring support for the listed attributes of attribute groups:

  • Marked deprecated attributes as hidden from UI views:
    • Host CPU Metrics
      • CPUs Consumed Per VM
      • CPU GHz Consumed Per VM
    • Host Memory Metrics
      • Memory Allocated Per VM
      • Memory Used Per VM

The following enhancements were made:    
NetApp Storage agent:
The following enhancements were made in this release:
  1. This agent is redesigned to support Active IQ 9.7 later versions, all the existing attribute groups are continuing to support except those the API call are deprecated on the Active IQ Unified Manager.
  2. This agent is not supported to monitor setups prior Active IQ to 9.7, upgrade from previous agent release to this one is recommended only if you have Active IQ version of 9.7 or later.

  4. Event mechanism is enhanced to show only the latest events that are occurred after the agent has started, no history lookup to query the old events available on the Active IQ Unified Manager.
  5. Logging is enhanced with precise information about the connection failure of both the sources.
  6. We have updated workspaces as follows:
    • NetApp Storage Agent:
      • Deleted: “Host Status View”.
      • Removed navigation link from “Aggregates Status view”, “Luns Status view” and “Volumes Status view”.
    • Clustered Details:
      • Deleted: “Performance Details view “, “Throughput view”.
    • Disks Summary:
      • Deleted: “Total Throughput view”.
      • Deleted the workspace Disk details also removed navigation Link from Disk Summary to Disk Details.
    • Vserver Details:
      • Deleted: “Network Error”, “Network Utilization” views.

4.0 Image directory contents

This fix image contains the following files:
ITMVE7.2.0.8_VMVIKVMNAS_AGTMP_EN.tar.gz (Fix archive .tar format)
Note: Contents in the .gz files are identical for both Windows™ and UNIX™ platforms.
The same installer works for the Windows™ and UNIX™ operating systems.
5.0 Installation instructions
======================
This fix can be installed on an existing installation. Use the following steps to install this fix.
5.1 Installing the fix
-------------------------
Before installing this fix, refer to section 2.1 entitled 'Prerequisites for this fix'.
For this readme file, the symbol <CANDLEHOME> is the IBM Tivoli Monitoring installation directory.
The default value of CANDLEHOME is '/opt/IBM/ITM' on UNIX™ systems and 'C:\IBM\ITM' on Windows systems.

For more troubleshooting installation information, see the itmpatch.log in the patch logs directory in <CANDLEHOME>.
6.1 Installation instructions for agent "baroc" file
--------------------------------------------------------
There are no updates to the "baroc" files included in this fix or any of the superseded fixes. No additional installation steps are required.
6.2 Verifying the update:
--------------------------
Note:
When the VMware VI agent update is successful, the agent version is: 07.30.04.00.
When the Linux Kernel-based Virtual Machines agent update is successful, the agent version is: 07.20.07.00.
When the NetApp Storage agent update is successful, the agent version is: 07.30.03.00.
On UNIX™ or Linux systems:
To validate that all components are installed successfully, run the following command:
$CANDLE_HOME/bin/cinfo -i
For example:
