PH22250: DOJO UPLOADER SERVLET LOCATED IN A SERVICES PROJECT IS SECURED WITH BASIC AUTHENTICATION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A Dojo uploader servlet located in a services project is
  secured via setHTTPBasicAuthentication,
  setProxyBasicAuthentication options to implement the same way
  with the servlet as with services where after the initial
  credentials prompt the user is no longer presented with
  additional prompts.
  However in this scenario users always get a
  credentials prompt the every time they attempt to use the
  upload feature.
  
  Uploading is by the Dojo component which is
  why setting basic authentication in EGL does not work.
