APAR status

Error description

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Receive error BMXAA4129E when importing a new location in JSON
    format via application import within the LOCATIONS application
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    (1)Go to Object Structure application and find record
    'MXOPERLOC'.
    
    (2)Click action 'Add/Modify Application Import Support' and
    create a new row for application 'LOCATION'. Then select 'JSON
    File' as the default file type.
    
    (3)Go to Security Groups application and find record
    'MAXADMIN'.
    
    (4)Click 'Applications' tab and find record for 'LOCATIONS'.
    Grant access to 'Application Import' and save the change.
    
    (5)Log in to Maximo again with a user belonging to security
    group MAXADMIN.
    
    (6)Go to LOCATIONS application and click action 'Application
    Import'.
    
    (7)From the popup dialogue, select MXOPERLOC as the object
    structure.
    
    (8)Click 'Select File' to point to the import file in JSON
    format which including a new location data. Then click OK.
    
    RESULTS:
    Import of data in the json file was unsuccessful with error
    BMXAA4129E.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    New location data is created in Maximo table.
    
    REPORTED IN VERSION:
    Maximo 7.6.1.2
