IT37610: MONGOD AND RABBITMQ LOGS MIGHT GROW LARGE TAKING UP SPACE ON /DATA FILE SYSTEM

Error description

• The mongod.log, mongod2.log, and rabbitmq files might grow in
  excess of
  20GB taking up space on the /data file system. In some cases,
  the logs have grown to several
  TB's. As these logs are collected when user selecting the
  "Download System logs" or
  manual "logcollect" command, these log collection actions can
  cause the log bundle
  to become larger than expected.
  
  Mongo logs are in /data/log/mongo
  
  Rabbitmq logs are in /data/log/rabbitmq/

Problem conclusion

• MongoDB logs were not rotated properly and could grow to an
  excessive size. With the fix MongoDB logs are now rotated using
  the Linux logrotate service, ensuring that the MongoDB logs do
  not grow beyond a fixed size.
