PH37615: PTF4 MISSING CONFIGURATION FILE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A configuration file was not installed by SMP/E due to a
  combination of errors, and this caused upgrade from PTF 3 to PTF
  4 to fail to do certain updates in post upgrade step, and that
  caused discovery to stop working.

  An error occurred in PTF UI75419, and this is a replacement
  which supersedes that APAR with corrections.
  
  Summary (including updates from UI75419):
  
  Subsystem management
  
      Object discovery for each registered
      subsystem is refreshed periodically.
  
      The subsystem tile displays
      last object discovery time.
  
      The subsystem tile now displays
      the current Function Level of the subsystem.
  
  
  Installation improvements
  
      Git is no longer a pre-requisite
      for installing UMS.
  
  
  Miscellaneous
  
      Additional validations incorporated
      to prevent bad IZPUMSPM values.
  
      The latest version of the API will be
      invoked if the X-API-VERSION is not passed.
      If you intend to use the oldest version,
      set the X-API-VERSION value to EARLIEST.
  
      It is recommended to set X-API-VERSION as
      LATEST or specific version intended to use.
  
      The installation verification program is restructured
      for better usability.
  
      The pull requests displayed on the dashboard
      are now sorted by the last updated time.
  
      Improved logging for validation of
      configuration files during server startup.
