  • The Microsoft SQL feature enables to store large
    unstructured objects.
    The IBM Spectrum Protect Plus SQL backup of a database can fail
    with the error:

    This happens when a source file is empty and the file name is
    long, which lead
    to destination file path of more than 256 characters.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed an issue with copying files with zero size. After applying
    the fix backup of databases with zero file size will complete
    successfully.
