Error description

  • Number of Dependent jobs listed for a particular job (e.g.
JOB1)  are not always identical across two different CA7 Job
Triggering Flow graphs that contain the same JOB1.

Problem summary

  • In different CA7 Job Triggering Flow graphs the number of
dependent jobs shown for a given job are different. This
inconsistent behavior was due to the fact that the display
algorithm of the graph didn't always consider the starting
schid, which led to some dependencies being excluded as
invalid.

Problem conclusion

  • Application Discovery code was changed to take into account the
starting schid in all cases when validating dependencies.
