IJ33051: ADDING RESTRICTIONS TO ATTRIBUTES IN JOBLABOR DO NOT WORK ON EXISTING JOBPLAN RECORDS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• client is upgrading from 7609 to 7612 and sees a difference in
  bahavior with their data restrictions
  replicated in house
  
  reviewed prior release - 7.6.0.9 (and issue did not happen)
  
  appears to occur only in planned Labor section, could not
  replicate in Planned Materials
  
  Steps to replicate:
  
  log in as maxadmin
  go to security groups, enter maxadmin
  Data Restrictions tab, Attribute Restrictions
  Object - JOBLABOR
  Attribute - PAYRATE
  type - HIDDEN
  No Condition
  
  Go to Jobplan application
  Find existing jobplan BREAKOP (if there are 2 revisions, pick
  rev0)
  Scroll down to see Planned Labor section at bottom
  
  
  Same issue will happen for LINECOST (and likely other
  attributes)
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  RESULTS:
  See that existing row for craft OLM, PAYRATE is visible
  
  Note: If you create a new revision of this jobplan and you
  select the new revision, scroll down and you will see PAYRATE is
  hidden.  This is also the case if you create a new Jobplan and
  add any new labor records.  Issue appears to be with existing
  jobplan records.
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  
  PAYRATE should be hidden
  Note: Follow the above steps in a 7609 environment and the
  PAYRATE will be hidden.
