OA61575: OPTION REFRESHMODE(INTERNAL) CAUSES ENTIRE SYSPRRPT TO BE COPIEDTO C2PDEBUG

APAR status

Error description

• option refreshmode(internal) causes entire SYSPRRPT to be copied
  to C2PDEBUG at each environment refresh.
  
  Also, when the UI is used to set "Use internal refresh" to N (or
  blank), no explicit option refreshmode(external) is generated so
  a REFRESH of the alert configuration does not change the
  refreshmode from internal if that has been previously set.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: zSecure Alert started task copies the   *

  *                      the 'refreshmode' configuration option  *
  *                      is set to 'internal' and setting the    *
  *                      alert UI configuration option           *
  *                      "Use internal refresh" to 'N' does not  *
  *                      perform as expected.                    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the PTF provided.                      *

  When zSecure Alert configuration option 'refreshmode' is set to
  'internal', zSecure Alert started task copies the entire
  SYSPRRPT to C2PDEBUG at each environment refresh. The "Use
  internal refresh" UI configuration option does not perform as
  expected so that setting it to 'N' does not result in
  a 'refreshmode(external)' alert configuration statement to be
  generated.
  

Problem conclusion

• zSecure Alert and its configuration interface have been modified
  so fix the reported issues.
