Troubleshooting
Problem
Deployment of Manage application from IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.4.1 console fails with message:
"Message: Failed to find exact match for binding.operators.coreos.com/v1alpha1.ServiceBinding by [kind, name, singularName, shortNames]"
Cause
The issue indicates that the Service Binding Operator was not installed. This is one of IBM Maximo Application Suite 8.4's requirements.
Diagnosing The Problem
Deployment fails with:
"MANAGE" fails with an error "Message: Failed to find exact match for binding.operators.coreos.com/v1alpha1.ServiceBinding by [kind, name, singularName, shortNames]"
The affected pods are:
ibm-mas-manage-operator-xxxxxxx-xxxx
ibm-truststore-mgr-operator-xxxxxxx-xxx

Resolving The Problem
Install the Service Binding Operator according to Service Binding Operator installation and delete the affected operators in order for the new configuration to be applied.
