APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • With service trace off, exception messages are not getting
    logged in ExceptionLog even after enabling exception logging by
    editing server.conf.yaml.

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of  IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 using Exception Log
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Exception are  not output to the  exception log file even if it
    is enabled in server.conf.yaml configuration. The exception logs
    are written only when service trace is enabled.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Product has been modified  such that  the exception are now
    output to  the exception log file without dependence on the
    service trace status.

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
