Error description

  • When you use Oracle as the runtime database and you have an
empty namespace definition, such as a missing fault namespace
for the process interface, you might see a NullPointerException
similar to

This is caused by the handling of Oracle with empty strings,
which results in null .

Problem conclusion


    

  • A fix is available for IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) 8.6.1
and IBM BPM 19.0.0.3 that handles namespace definitions of null,
 like empty string definitions, in Oracle databases.
