Problem summary

    *                 compiler option whose programs contain       *
    *                 XML PARSE statements where identifier-1 (the *
    *                 sender) is a variable-length (ODO) table     *
    *                 with an UNBOUNDED number of occurrences.     *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In some cases, the XML parser may       *
    *                      erroneously raise an exception          *
    *                      condition resulting in a non-zero       *
    *                      value in the XML-CODE special           *
    *                      register.                               *

    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the provided PTF.                      *
    ****************************************************************
    The compiler was, in this circumstance, incorrectly generating
    code for calling the z/OS XML System Services parser.
    

Problem conclusion
