This document provides additional information on how to interpret end of support (EOS) dates for IBM products divested to HCL.
Objective
IBM License Metric Tool provides end of support (EOS) dates for IBM software components based on the IBM Software Lifecycle page. For products divested to HCL, the date informs about EOS for these products provided by IBM. However, it does not necessarily mean that these products are not supported by HCL.
To understand if HCL supports a particular divested product and until when, refer to the HCL Product Lifecycle page.
The full list of products for which the above clarification applies can be found in this IBM announcement.
The corresponding components can be also listed by using the Software Components panel in License Metric Tool and filtering the data by 'End of Support' = July 1, 2019.
