Troubleshooting
Problem
Prompt for CQM DB2 datasource credentials loops when running report in IBM Cognos Analytics even with verified correct user name and password.
The datasource tests successfully with the same credentials.
Cause
Flipper service is not configured properly
Resolving The Problem
Add FQDN of the server in Subject Alternative Names in Cryptography - Cognos in Cognos Configuration
Add entries for the server IP address and its FQDN name and the server IP address and its hostname in /etc/hosts of the Linux server
Restart Cognos
