Error description

  • An unspecified error occurs during "IBM Spectrum Protect file
    restore interface (FileRestoreUI)" authentication:
    "An error occurred during authentication. Try to log in again.
    If the problem persists, contact your administrator".

    needed.

Problem conclusion

  • During FLR Web GUI login, the system checks whether the guest OS
    is represented in the list of supported guest platforms.
    Some of the supported platforms was updated recently and their
    names were missing in the list.
    The platforms were added to the list of the supported platforms,
    so the problem will no longer occur.
