Troubleshooting
Problem
Trying to configure Control Center for a secure connection to the database but get an error.
Key store and Trust store have been configured.
Secure connection to database = Y
Symptom
Unable to make connection to database
SQL Error Code = 0
Error Type = SQL Error
Error message = The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "com.ibm.jsse2.util.h: PKIX path building failed: com.ibm.security.cert.IBMCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target".
SQL Error Code = 0

Cause
The database itself was not setup for secure connections.
Diagnosing The Problem
Review the ccinstall.log and the errors while running configCC
Resolving The Problem
Change to use; Secure connection to database = N when configuring the database in Control Center.
