Customers installing IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7.1.1 SP1 are encouraged to read all technotes before installing the Service Pack. The tables below highlight key issues and related technical guidance for issues with 11.7.1.1 Service Pack 1. Glossary import with Ignore merge option does not populate correctly the relationship from Glossary Assets to Stewards for built-in Stewards property.

Adding a managed glossary asset to a steward, directly from steward dossier page, is immediately published to catalog bypassing the workflow. The draft version of the artifact is not updated with this relationship.
Workaround: Steward should be assigned to a draft in the Glossary Development view so that it undergoes workflow.

Previously created Data Quality workspaces may not be displayed in some cases.
If the user is at 11.7.1.1 and has workspaces created, upgrades to 11.7.1.1 Service Pack 1 and applies LDAP/LDAP Federated configuration, the previously created workspaces will not be displayed for the isadmin user.

| After installing Service Pack 1, the ExceptionStage will no longer be able to send the exception event which adds the exception descriptor record to the SOLR index to be presented in the Data Quality Exception Console UI. The job does not abort, however it does log the warning message: Unable to send notification event, error message: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.http.auth.Credentials". This problem does NOT interfere with Information Analyzer exception integration with DQEC. | N/A |
