Error description

  • In IIB, an HTTP OPTIONS request is handled by the listener and
    auto responded back to the client. The request is never passed
    to the message flow. However, in ACE, it's seen that the HTTP
    OPTIONS request is passed to the message flow similar to
    GET/POST methods.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    <span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">T</span><span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">he HTTP </span><span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">OPTIONS request is
    passed to the message flow similar to </span><span
    style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">GET/POST methods and
    thus it triggers the message flow.   This is an incorrect
    behaviour. It is expected that the Http OPTIONS request is
    handled at listener and be auto responded back to the
    client.</span>
    

Problem conclusion

  • The product no longer invokes the message flow when the HTTP
    request method is OPTIONS. Now, the listener auto responds back
    to the client.
