With the DataDirect Oracle ODBC driver v08.02.2330 that is included in IIB v10.0.0.22 and ACE v11.0.0.10, an insert that includes a varchar2 column followed by a DATE column may fail with a string truncation error: BIP2322E: Database error: SQL State '22001'; Native Error Code '0'; Error Text '[IBM][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver]String data, right truncated. Error in parameter X.'.

Use the Oracle ODBC driver from an earlier Fix Pack.

Problem conclusion
