IT35898: CHANGE DEFAULT VALUE OF HTTP LISTENER'S ENABLELOOKUPS PROPERTY TO FALSE.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The default value of EnableLookups property in integration node
  listener and integration server (embedded) listener is 'true'
  and it results in DNS lookup to populate values like
  X-Remote-Host header for the incoming requests. In some systems
  the DNS lookup take more time which causes poor performance for
  HTTPInput/SOAPInput node  message flows. The default value of
  this property in IBM Integration Bus is 'false' and this APAR
  changes the default value to 'false' in IBM App Connect as well
  to avoid the DNS lookup by the listeners.
  

Local fix

• Run command 'mqsichangeproperties [IntegrationNode] -e
  [IntegrationServer] -o HTTPConnector -n EnableLookups -v false'
  to set the property value to false.
