APAR status

Error description

  • If the FileOutput Node is set to append mode then it is not
possible to use the local environment to update the Posix file
permissions on the file.

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus version 10 or App Connect
Enterprise version 11 using the File Output Node.


Platforms affected:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">If the
FileOutput Node is set to append mode then it is not possible to
use the local environment
(</span>LocalEnvironment.Destination.File.PosixPermissions<span
style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">) to update the
Posix file </span>
<span style="background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255)">permissions on
the file.      </span>

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • It is now possible to set the Posix file permissions on a file
using the FileOutput Node even if the output mode is set to
append.
