    ****************************************************************
When a remote managed HTTP server (IBM HTTP Server, Apache,
etc.) the following exception may occur as the node containing
the remote HTTP server may report back a version that is not
    compatibile with the PBKDF2WithHmacSHA1 hashing
    algorithm.
    CWWIM5107E The following nodes
do not support the use of the PBKDF2WithHmacSHA1 hashing
    algorithm: [<<NODE_NAME>>]

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the node version check to account for remote HTTP server
nodes that report back a non-compatible version.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.20 and 9.0.5.7. For more information, see 'Recommended
    Updates for WebSphere Application Server':
    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/715553

Temporary fix

  • To work around this issue without the APAR installed, remove the
remote HTTP server from the configuration, retry the failing
operation and then re-add the remote HTTP server to the
    configuration.
