APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If DB2 version field in Build Configuration is set to a level
that is lower than one that supports the current schema of the
installed DB2 version, then messages will be issued.....

Local fix

  • Set DB2 Version field to match the level of DB2 installed on
the z/OS system, or to the highest number available.

Problem summary

  • Based on the user input, DB2 Version information is used only to
 determine whether to use SYSIBM.SYSPROCEDURES vs.
SYSIBM.SYSROUTINES in calls to catalog tables for DB2 on z/OS.

Problem conclusion

  • To be in line with our current support for DB2 on zOS, this
field is no longer necessary, so it will no longer appear in the
 GUI.
Also, the mainframe request will use only SYSIBM.SYSROUTINES in
calls to catalog tables for DB2 on z/OS.
