• High CPU in CDP Log Forwarder (LF) when processing a greater
  than 500K message buffer from the SYSLOG.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: High CPU in CDP Log Forwarder (LF) when *
  *                      a larger than 500K zOS SYSLOG message   *
  *                      is processed.                           *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply this PTF.                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When the size of the zOS SYSLOG message is larger than the Log
  Forwarder buffer, due to the buffer limitation, CDP is not able
  to handle it which results in a loop and high CPU.
  

Problem conclusion

• CDP v1.1 is updated to handle the large message buffer. You may
  see warning message GLAG058I when this condition occurs.
