Error description

  • Incorrect serialization of "attribute_mapping" property in LDAP
    user registry

Local fix

Problem summary

  • When making a change to a LDAP user registry configuration at
the cloud level, the corresponding catalog user registry objects
need to updated to reflect the same change. The code had an
issue where it was not serializing the catalog level user
registry object before inserting & updating the database. This
blocked the ability to update LDAP user registry configurations
if the user registry was also configured to a catalog.

Problem conclusion

  • This APAR addresses the serialization issue and LDAP user
registry configurations are now able to be updated.
