IBM Support

IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody no longer informs the user when duplicate GUID's exist within a model.

Troubleshooting

Problem

When opening an IBM Engineering Systems Design Rhapsody model a window opened stating that there is another element with the same ID.
If you select the option, "Don't ask me again. Use my current reply as default.", then this setting will be applied to all subsequent openings of this model and all other models.

Resolving The Problem

When a user selects the option, "Don't ask me again. Use my current reply as default.", a variable is being written to the rhapsody.ini file called FOUND_2_OBJ_SAME_ID
To disable the message set the variable as:
FOUND_2_OBJ_SAME_ID=1
To enable the message set the variable as:
FOUND_2_OBJ_SAME_ID=0
