Troubleshooting
Problem
Various actions such as updating user roles in PA Workspace Administration, or publishing a book in PA for Excel result in 503 Server Unavailable errors.
Cause
In one particular instance, the customer Kubernetes environment had been configured to only allow for the GET and POST HTTP verbs. Planning Analytics Workspace can be expected to use additional verbs such as PUT and PATCH. The requests resulting in 503 were PATCH commands and were being rejected.
Resolving The Problem
You will need to work with your infrastructure team to ensure that appropriate verbs are handled correctly. The configuration for such settings is beyond the scope of the Planning Analytics Workspace application.
