Abstract
This document describes the IBM i support for iSCSI VTL devices.

IBM i partitions running IBM i 7.2, IBM i 7.3, IBM i 7.4, and IBM i 7.5 now support attachment of an iSCSI Virtual Tape Library (VTL) device to improve the performance of save and restore operations over Ethernet.
This support enables attachment of an iSCSI VTL from Falconstor corporation. This support has only been tested with VTLs from Falconstor corporation.
