How to display the original value instead of exponential notation in IBM Predictive Insights, Service Diagnosis page?

Question & Answer

Question

In IBM Predictive Insights, Service Diagnosis view, how do I display the original value instead of exponential notation?

When the metric value is a large number, it is displayed in exponential notation. For example, although the actual metric value is 876543210, the value display in Service Diagnosis view is: "8.765e8".

Answer

The answer is, this behavior is working as design and it is not configurable. There are currently no workaround to show the original value without exponential notation.

If the values hit 10000000, then it will use scientific notation. Otherwise the original value will be displayed.
