This document describes how to download the IBM Spectrum Protect™ Snapshot Version 4.1.6.11 interim fix.

Tip: Beginning with Version 4.1.3, Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager is now IBM Spectrum Protect™ Snapshot. Some applications such as the software fulfillment systems and IBM License Metric Tool use the new product name. However, the software and its product documentation continue to use the Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager product name. An update is available for IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot Version 4.1. These 4.1.6.11 packages do not contain a license enablement file. You must already have the 4.1.0.x, 4.1.1.x, 4.1.2.x, 4.1.3.x, 4.1.4.x or 4.1.6.x base package to obtain the license enablement file required to use the product. An interim fix is available for IBM Spectrum Protect™ Snapshot Version 4.1.6. This interim fix level delivers packages only for a subset of all components supported. The following table shows the platforms associated with this interim fix level.

This interim fix delivery includes the following updates:

Due to technical reasons, beginning with IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot for VMware Version 4.1.6.9 the following operating systems are no longer supported:
- 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.6, and later maintenance levels and mod levels: Desktop, Advanced Platform, and Server Edition
Due to technical reasons, beginning with IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot for VMware Version 4.1.6.9 the following storage systems are no longer supported:
- IBM System Storage N series or NetApp data storage systems

Starting with IBM Spectrum Protect Snapshot for VMware Version 4.1.6.3 the supported version of IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments Data Protection for VMware changed and version 7.1.8.0 or higher 7.1.8.x versions of IBM Spectrum Protect™ for Virtual Environments Data Protection for VMware are required.
