Resolving The Problem
IBM i Access is connecting using SSL. Operations Navigator connects; however, PC5250 fails with message CWBCO1049 - Unable to connect to central server.
Message CPIAD08 RC -24 was found in the QZSCSRVSD job log. This indicates the certificate has expired. A new certificate was assigned to this server. The central server was ended and restarted to use the new certificate.
This error could also occur with IBM i Access Data Transfer as it also checks out a license via the Central Server.
