Abstract
Adobe will no longer be supporting Flash Player after December 31, 2020 and Adobe will start blocking Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021.
Content
Users may see reminders from Adobe to uninstall Flash Player from their system. Once uninstalled, the following flash-based functionality within Sterling Order Management (on-premise) and Sterling Order Management on Cloud will be temporarily affected:
Application Console
- Inventory Summary charts
- Even though these charts are removed, the figures are still displayed in the interface.
Sterling Business Center
- Pricing > Active Coupons chart
- Here the active coupon data is represented in the form of this chart only.
The solution developed to remove the dependency on Adobe Flash player for the charts above is to instead render them using FusionCharts Javascript libraries.

2/26/2021 UPDATE: This fix is now available on Sterling Order Management V10 Fix Pack 21. Supporting documentation is available here:
For customers on Sterling Order Management on Cloud, the fix included in our 21.1 Major Update, the upgrades of which started in the DEV and QA environments on March 15th.
3/29/2021 UPDATE: This fix is now available on Sterling Order Management V9.5 Fix Pack 47 as well.

Microsoft Edge will allow Adobe Flash Player to load as a plug-in via the Internet Explorer mode feature. Inherently, Internet Explorer 11 will also allow this. For more information, see Options for continued support for enterprise customers on the page below:
