*                 routine to query information about a COBOL   *
*                 user program.                                *

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IGZXAPI supports query functions via a  *
*                      function code parameter. The function   *
*                      code that is affected is 3. This        *
*                      function code expects the Language      *
*                      Environment to be running, but it       *
*                      doesn't require the caller to provide   *
*                      an LE stack with a NAB. (It requires    *
*                      R13 to points to a save area, but not   *
*                      necessarily an LE stack.) IGZXAPI has a *
*                      logic error when the NAB is not         *
*                      available.                              *

COBOL library's IGZXAPI query routine function code 3 may hit LE
Abend U4088 if the caller is not using an Language Environment
stack to make the call.

Problem conclusion

properly.
